Corrections policy
How we correct errors in published materials
What we correct
Any factual error in a published material (wrong number, date, name, quote, distorted context) is corrected explicitly, not silently edited. Typos and stylistic fixes are made without a separate note.
How a correction looks
A block appears at the end of the material: "Correction DD.MM.YYYY: the article previously stated X, corrected to Y." The dateModified field in schema.org structured data is updated to the time of the fix.
How to report an error
Email office@viet-smart.com with the subject "Correction" and include: link to the material, the wording with the error, the correct wording, source link (if any). We review within 3 business days.
Major changes
If an error materially changes the meaning of the article (conclusion, recommendation, legal assessment), we also update the headline and lead and note it in the correction block. We do not rewrite a previously published article in place while keeping the same URL โ if a different position is required, we publish a new article that links to the old one.
What we do NOT delete
We do not delete materials wholesale because of factual errors โ we correct them with explicit notice. Full deletion is possible only for legal reasons (e.g. a lawful demand to remove personal data).
